A Family of Churches
Providence Church is one church family expressed in multiple local congregations. Our Fairview congregation is part of a growing family that also includes Providence Coatesville and Providence West Chester.
While each congregation gathers in a different community and reflects the unique character of its neighborhood, we share the same mission, vision, theology, and commitment to making disciples.
Being a family of churches allows us to:
-
Reach more communities with the gospel
-
Raise and develop leaders
-
Share resources and serve one another
-
Plant and strengthen healthy local congregations
We are not independent churches loosely connected—we are one church in multiple locations, working together to see lives transformed by Jesus across our region.
Our Story
ProvFairview began as a shared vision to see God’s work continue and flourish in the Glenmoore community.
For over 200 years, Fairview Presbyterian Church faithfully served this area, building a legacy of worship, community, and gospel witness. In recent years, as their congregation discerned how to move forward amid declining attendance, their leadership began praying about what it could look like for that legacy to continue in a new way.
In the fall of 2025, Fairview’s elders reached out to Providence Church to explore what partnership might look like. Through prayer, conversations, and a shared desire to see the Great Commission carried forward, it became clear that God was opening the door for something new.
ProvFairview is the result of that process—a church adoption where Providence Church is welcoming the Fairview congregation into its family. Together, we are becoming one church, aligned in vision, leadership, and mission, while honoring the rich history that came before.
The name ProvFairview reflects both this legacy and the future ahead—holding onto the faithfulness of Fairview while stepping into a new season as part of the Providence family.
Our first Sunday gathering will take place on Easter, April 5, 2026, marking the beginning of this new chapter.
As we launch, our heart is simple: to continue the work God has been doing here for generations and to reach our community with the hope of Jesus for generations to come.
